Our 25th annual Harvest Brunch, held November 5, 2017, at the Irish Social Club in West Roxbury, welcomed friends from West Roxbury, Roslindale, and beyond for a festive meal to raise money for Rosie’s Place, a shelter for poor and homeless women, the Rosie’s Place food pantry, the Roslindale Food Pantry, and camperships to send homeless and poor children from Boston to summer camp programs.
We are so grateful to everyone who turned out to enjoy good friends and food, and to support a great cause.

Special thanks to our Gold Sponsor, Rockland Trust
as well as these generous members of our business community: Irish Social Club of Boston, Roche Bros. Supermarkets, Wegmans, Local 338 Bagels & Coffee, Starbucks, Home Depot, Henry’s Market, Roslindale & Johnny’s Market, Hyde Park, East Boston Savings Bank, and Blue Hills Bank.
We were especially happy to be joined by two of WRFORP’s original founders and lifelong friends, Helen Haley and Bill Hennessey, who were honored with roses and the appreciation of all.

Kudos to our Event Chair, WRFORP Board Member Alicia O’Brien, and many thanks again to all who attended, contributed, and volunteered (including our Rosebuddies). We couldn’t do this without you!
