Every spring for 17 years, West Roxbury Friends of Rosie’s Place has hosted our Community Dinner, our biggest fundraiser of the year, to support our work with Rosie’s Place, the Roslindale Food Pantry, and summer camps for children experiencing poverty and homelessness.
Although we can’t enjoy an evening together in person this year, we can still gather virtually!
Please join us via Zoom on Saturday evening, June 20th from 7:00-8:00 pm. You’ll have to provide your own dinner this time, but we will provide an opportunity for you to connect with neighbors, hear about how we and Rosie’s Place are staying faithful to our missions in these challenging times, have a chance at a door prize, participate in a silent auction, and maybe even dance a little at the end!
This event is free.
Usually our Spring Community Dinner brings in about $15,000 annually for our charitable work. We thank everyone who paid for dinner tickets this year and chose not to request a refund when we had to cancel our in-person event.
If you haven’t had a chance yet, please consider making a donation.
