We did it! Our $40K for 40 Years campaign brought in over $45,000 in 2021

Not many things went better than expected in 2021, but thanks to your generosity, we’re happy to share with you that West Roxbury Friends of Rosie’s Place’s $40K for 40 Years Anniversary Campaign beat all expectations!

We set a challenging goal to raise $40,000 to help local organizations that serve food insecure individuals and families. With your help, we raised over $45,000 and gave it all away!

At a time when everything seems hard, it’s comforting to know that we’re part of a caring community that made things better for others. Thank you for all you do to make our community, our city, our world a better place.

Wishing you the very best in 2022,

WRFORP Board Members

Thanks to all who came to our Block Party on September 18th

Our thanks to everyone who turned out for our Thank You Block Party on Saturday, September 18, 2021. A lovely time was had by all!

We were so happy to have the opportunity to reconnect in person with longtime and new supporters on Park Street where it all started 40 years ago.

Michael Oliver, Director of Fundraising for Rosie’s Place, came with his pup, Frodo, and shared how they are helping women and hungry families through the challenges of COVID.

And Ruthzee Louijeune, candidate for Boston City Council At-Large, closed out the celebration with us.

Again, THANK YOU for all you have done to support the Boston women, children, and families we serve together.

We are looking forward to hosting another Virtual Harvest Brunch in November, so be on the lookout for messages from us about great raffle prizes and how to get a ticket.

With gratitude,
WRFORP Board
