Campership Fund Drive
This is the time of year when we think about positive summer opportunities for youngsters. The isolation of the past few years has been particularly hard on children. As a result, from March 15th-April 12th, we focus our fundraising efforts on providing camp opportunities for children living in stressful situations so that they get a chance to just be kids!
These include:
- Shared camp experiences for siblings separated by foster care
- Special camp experiences for children coping with a family member’s substance abuse disorder
- Support for children whose families can’t afford day/overnight camp tuition
Spring brings new hope. Your Spring donation will offer hope to our neighbors in need. Please make a donation during our Campership Fundraiser, March 15th – April 12th.

We loved getting Distracted…
West Roxbury Friends of Rosies Place wants to give a big thank you to our many long-time and new supporters who joined us on Monday evening at Distraction Brewing Co. for a fun time and a very successful fundraiser for Rosie’s Place and the Roslindale Food Pantry.
Special thanks to Distraction for hosting the event. This was our first time teaming up with Distraction, and the success of the evening was due in large part to their involvement.
After quenching their thirst with a brew, hungry supporters satisfied their appetite with dinner from Wanderlust Food Truck. A delicious Monday evening combination!
The multi-generational crowd, from babies to octogenarians, added to the festive atmosphere.
Thanks to everyone for their generosity and participation in the fundraiser’s raffle.
Lucky winners took home gift cards donated by local businesses—Green T Coffee Shop, Sophia’s Grotto, The Square Root, Kissed, and Birch St. House & Garden—to name just a few.
Thanks to your participation, we are able to help our neighbors struggling with food insecurity.
